Any news on Seau? How do you guys think he did in his role here? Think that he was a solid pick up from San Diego(Hopefully not the last)?

unfortunatly i think he will go to another team. i loved the move to bring him in here, but the last two years ending on IR was not a good thing, and he says he can still play, so goodbye junior, i enjoyed seeing your passion in miami.

My hope is that (if) we release him, SD picks him up for one more year and he finishes his HOF career in HIS city. That would be the story book ending for him.

Saeu still plays well and at a high level(nothing like what he once was) but his body is worn down...he really should retire.

He should retire. I love Seau but he's just injury prone. I hope SD picks him up so he can retire there. He deserves it.

I think he will sign a one day contract and retire as a Charger. SD will not pick him up for a whole season in my opinion. They have a great young linebacking core. I can't see them letting on of them go just for Seau to have one more moment in the sun.

And - of course - Ask Brees about how much loyalty the SD FO is showing these days...

I don't see him coming back ... because shouldn't be a starter or better said, would be better suited as a situational player ....

I don't see him accepting that role.

I would love to see him play one more year for us in a player/coach role. I think he would accept a limited role playing if he also knew his influence would be all over the field in the way he trained and taught the younger guys.

I disagree. IMO he would not be happy with a limited role. C'mon, the guy has been a star in the NFL, he's going to the HOF ... he wants to play another year. I don't think that he'll accept a backup role. I believe that he will sign somewhere for one more year and then retire.
