Will somebody please explain to me why we are not a better team than the Patsies?

I honestly feel as if the division is ours to lose this year but most journalist refuse to get off of Belichecks bandwagon. The obvious is right in front of thenm but they refuse to admit we got better while the Pats got worse as team.
 
I don't know bro, I think I just posted something on the same subject.

Why you ask? You're not better until you beat the better team. They've been the better team for what, 4 or 5 years now. When the two squads are healthy, we're not playing their scrubs, and we beat them in a meaningful matchup - well then that's when you get your answer.

Show some patience............
 
Because they've won 3 Super Bowls in the past 5 years and have consistently dominated our division this decade? We haven't been in the playoffs since 2000. That all can change this year, but until then, the Pats are currently at the top until someone overtakes them.
 
we are.everyone is scared to admit it.everyone loves the pats for some reason.i hate them with a passion

I know. Dude thinks we're unguardedly better and the division is our's to lose when we haven't even seen the post season in 5 years. Too many people smokin' the sticky ricky 'round here.
 
I was thinkin the same exact thing as i sat there and watch that SportCenter bit on DC and the phins. I can't wait till miami sweeps those over hyped pats!!! Alotta people gonna be standing there looking stupid
 
I think Miami will atop of the AFC East, and do well, but they have to prove it. Whether how much you hate the Pats, they have won three superbowls in the past 5 years. Miami should do better than the pats with there additions, and the pats losses, but the pats still have Tom Brady and Belicheck. Until then, the pats are seen as the top team in the divisions. I believe Miami has a better team on paper, but we all know the game is played on the field. Don't worry it won't be long, until Miami is the top dog in the division.
 
There Super Bowl championships are a thing of the past, im lookin at the present and presently we have the better team. They lose Mcginest,Vinatieri, and David Givens without any real additions besides there unproven draft picks and there still considered the team to beat. There secondary is still garbage and they are just as old as us on the defensive side of the ball in no way in hell are they better than us.
 
I have to agree with engimatics. You don't win the division in the offseason
 
The NFL is like a giant game of King of the hill. And when you speak of the AFC East, the patriots are on top. Therefore, they are the kings of the hill, until someone knocks them off.

So even though miami may be more talented (and we are) We're nothing until we win the division, and speak with wins, and not just words.

According to you we're better............. no offense man, but the last I checked you're no professional talent evaluator. You're just an armchair QB, an avid fan of the game like the rest of us. Let's not toot our horns just yet. The Patriots have made diamonds out of crap for the last 5 years, so I'm not going to look at their roster and immediately write them off. Besides, I personally loved their draft. They got some gems on offense.

Nicely said. I think that this will be the year we do over take them however. I love seeing all the analysts taking the Pats, it will just make it that much sweeter when we do take down the title. We have so many people to feed the crow to and I can't wait!
