If so, get ready for the next wave of negativity.

If Tannehill plays in the pre-season and flops, you're going to hear all those people who didn't want Tannehill complain and indicate "I told you so" or "he's a bust".

If he plays in pre-season and does superb, better than both Moore and Garrard, you're going to hear Fin Fans being upset that he is not our starter from day 1.

Do you think he will see some time in pre-season????

...Of course he will see some time in preseason. A large portion of it.

yeah he'll see time in the preseason since it's when the young guys and boarderline guys get most of the reps.

If people complain about him playin bad in the PreSeason need a dose of reality.

We made Cam Newton look below average when we played Carolina, He came out week 1 and took the league by storm.

I think Tannehill will get aleast one quarter of play in all four preseason games.

In game number 4 he will play the entire 2nd half. With who ever is not the starter playing the first quarter and PD playing the 2nd

if he fails in the preseason then we will see the Pat Devlin threads come back... Gotta love those.

My bet is it's gonna be with 3rd-string training-camp fodder. Then we REALLY can't tell if he's OK or if just being a man among boys. And of course in training camp, you can't give Tannehill the same number of snaps with the first team that Garrard and Moore get, so next year, we're essentially back at Square One. That's why you don't draft a project in the Top 10.

You do when the rookie QB may know the offense better than the Vets already on the team. Drastically shrinks the learning curve.

At the very least, he has to play in the preseason, if the grand plan is for him to sit back and learn the game, when would he receive any playing time if not in the preseason?

In which case, he better be playing with second-stringers at the very least in the preseason, otherwise the bust whispers only get louder.

Exactly. He will play, and probably play alot in the preseason. We may see him in garbage time, and near the end of the regular season. Next season though I would not be surprised to see him yank the starter title away from everyone else. The kid has talent, and a lot of drive. He is probably already in Davie, going through the playbook.
