Got this from a chat on ESPN NFL.

Chris Hatfield (louisville,kentucky): Will the dolphins ever return back to their glory years?

Chris Neubauer: (4:44 PM ET ) Only if John Beck turns into the second coming of Dan Marino. Since I don't expect that to happen, I don't expect the Dolphins to return to their glory years anytime soon.

I think this is crap. I remember glory days before we ever drafted Marino. We have had a crap shoot trying to get a Good Qb let alone a great one. I hope Beck turns out to be the QB Cam expects.

Another person asked if we would make the wild card and he had us in last place in our division. I hope we are the surprise team of the season to the media.

Who the Hell is Chris Neubauer? Did he ever even wear a set of pads, or is he just another "expert" that learned from the Howard Cosell Correspondence Schol for Journalism??

I've never heard of him either he is with PFW. That being said i've never seen many in the media that are Phin Fans.

Remember that nobody thought that Dan Marino would turn into Dan Marino, that's why he was still available to us in the first place.:wink:
 
I dont want Beck to turn into Dan Marino. I want him to turn into the guy who won championships......Joe Montana. I think Beck fits this style of QB moreso than Dan. There is only one who compares to Dan and thats Manning.

Beck compares more to Montana because his knowledge of the game and execution/dedication.

So you need to have played in the NFL to comment on the NFL? I bet you wouldn't be saying that if this guy picked Miami to make the playoffs.
