Will the Dolphins get a big time Wide out this offseason..If so, which reciever??

I'm hoping that yes, but it may end up being no...

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the first responders. No. To many other needs on this team. Although they know they need a playmaker, there is really nothing available that fits into their formula of rebuilding.

Unless of course they defy the odds and select a WR in round 1 but then the chance of being an immediate impact is not certain.

I am not holding my breath! Not even for the draft, heck they had Nicks rated higher the Vontae and we know how that went!

only through free agency, we're not drafting any receivers early, trading for one is possible.

If we don't we will be in the same spot at this time next season

Actually I disagree. If MIA fixes their LB corps, sign a NT, and adds a KR/PR...they could be a playoff team next season.

Don't forget that we scored 30 pts like 5 games in a row at one point with Ronnie Brown in there...so its not like the lack of a #1 WR kept us from scoring 30 pts a game.

Once Ronnie Brown went down our Offense went down. So do we need a #1 WR? Yes. Jeff Ireland admitted that. But he also admitted that its been hard to find one. He said he doesnt want to sacrifice the future and other needs for that one want.

If he can land one and still fix those other parts, then great we are on our way. But if we don't and fix those other parts, I say we are still a playoff team.

Remember our Offense was spanking New Orleans...but our Defense lost that game for us. That was pretty much the story the whole season. Our Offense lost us maybe two games this season....

will you or anyone give a hich pick for a... lets said Johnson from Texans ? that will have to be at least the 1st!!!

I don't think a #1 receiver is nearly as much a need as a stud ILB on this team. The only times we scream that we need a #1 receiver is when we're on our last drive to try and win the game. Well, guess what, if we had linebackers that could do their job and then some, we wouldn't be in those situations nearly as much.

No. We'll stick with probably bringing in a cheap mid to low level FA and probably pick up a small school/project receiver in the mid to late rounds of the draft. I have to think that if getting a big play, big name WR in here was a priority we would have made a decent offer to Arizona for Boldin or Denver for Marshall as both were being shopped. This regime values draft picks more than any other we've had in recent history, so it's not likely we'd trade a first day pick for a top WR.

Now, an off the wall idea i wouldnt be opposed to would be offering Washington a 5th round pick for Antwaan Randle El and having him run some wildcat plays for us as he can run, catch and pass fairly well (if you doubt his passing, check out the beautiful throw he made in the Super Bowl against Seattle on the run). But he's far from the answer to our WR problems.

What if???????????????????????? Julius Pruitt starts to GET IT.
