I know it sounds a bit paranoid, but you think the NFL will schedule the 2 Pats games next year, to be in the 1st week and week 4, so they play us before Culpepper comes in to QB ?

I dont think so..

I think in the league's eyes they are ready for new teams to be contendors :) even the patriots get old after awhile. Last I checked the steelers won the last superbowl

This is why i want Gus back. We wouldnt lose much as far as continuing from last year. but my god, if DC is running already, I dont see what the prob will be come September unless he doesnt have time to shake off the rust.

No.........why would that even cross anyone's mind?

I just hope that we have an early bye week next year.....give Pepp another week to get ready.

Lots of 'experts' are saying Daunte will be ready week 1

So they could schedule us week 1 and 2 for all I care :D

Don't think for one second that the NFL will allow us to get our NE games out of the way before the bitter cold up north sets in. You know full well we're gonna have to play in NE in some snowstorm.

I don't know about the first two weeks, but how about not scheduling the Foxboro game as the december/january game. It's been this way 6 out of the last 7 years. That's the advantage that I'm worried about. They need to alternate the home/away games....dec/miami sept/foxboro one year, dec/foxboro sep/miami the next........Living here in NE, this has really pissed me off the past few years.

It's kinda hard, considering our division rivals..... I mean, come on.... Two New York teams, and one Massachusetts team.... There's no way were not playing in the cold every year. (well actually a NJ team, but you know what i mean)

I think the better questions is.... "How did we get in this cold weather division in the first place?"

we joined the AFC.....it was either the EAST, CENTRAL, or WEST......easy to see why we wound up where we did.

Well, when Indy left, it turned us into the oddballs.... :D

The Dolphins and other NFL scheduleas are already made in advance. Every year it moves a conference ie; if we played the NFC east, then the following year we would play the NFC central, now either North or South. The home games and away games and Stadium game times are set almost a year in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts ect. Especially since the Marlins play at Dolphins Stadium and many other revenue making events!!!:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:  :cooldude:
