This guy has me frustrated. I Dont know if its the coaches or just him, but when is the light upstairs going to turn on?! If he doesn't fit Miami's plans then get rid of him.

Put him in a 3-4 defense as an OLB, and you'll see that real Jordan. Not his fault Jeff Ireland's stupid ass traded up for him.

Making excuses for a player because he doesn't "fit the scheme" is a ridiculous excuses. Especially when he was the #3 overall pick in what was known as one of the greatest NFL drafts of all time. Get your ass producing with no excuses.

I've always had dreams of him being a stupid good tight end with his size and speed. Maybe he can develop into a good waterboy though

a lot of time those big time athletic specimens bust at high picks due to the fact they are one dimensional or just raw technique.

what I have seen in Dion Jordan (in his limited issued playing time) is a guy that doesnt fully understand the position or defensive scheme, takes poor angles, doesnt read well, over pursues, and struggles against the run. i guess he is a pass rusher though.

he doesnt fit our scheme fully either though... you do have to put that into the situation as well.... but he can learn, but just hasnt yet, and hasnt proven he can yet.

I thought he flashed last year, obviously we want a lot more out of him.

He covered Gronk pretty well, also covered Calvin Johnson multiple times, saw his athletism and size on special teams with some blocked punts. He def improved when playng the edge too.

Just needs to keep working and learning. His speed and size should really benefit from Suh in the middle.

But before he can get on the field often enough, he needs to find a position that the team knows he can handle every down, which he hasn't done yet.

im sticking with that it is coaching. our coaches do not develop. the staff is awful. and I was a guy that liked philbin and wanted him hear. sickening. we are always out coached

Shelby developed just fine as did Jenkins, it's a crap excuse to just say the coaches stink at developing. The only fault I put on the coaches is to not have him focus on 1 position from the get go. The amount of knowledge these players have to learn is a ton, we should have made it easier on him during his rookie year. This is a big year for him and is probably his last chance to prove he is a defensive end with us

Sorry but scheme matters very much. When you draft a guy that high, and then ask him do things that he never did on his tape, that incompetence falls mostly on the organization.

why are we always out coached? players always in the wrong position. Jenkins is playing bc of an injury and he got to prove himself

The real Dion Jordan does need to stand up... And play OLB. he obviously can't play with his hand down.

I'm afraid he already has. Some people here are in denial.
