I think that whoever is playing for Saban will be the better corner....Sometimes coaching DOES make a difference.
 
It's safe to say that most people thought Webster was the better corner in the draft, but that doesn't mean Daniels won't end up better. We have no reason to be dissapointed so far, he has become a big part of our defense, starting or not.
 
apparently howard shut out lelie who led the league with ypc last year so im fine with him until he messes up severly

I thought that was Madison did that. But you're right. I was actually a little fond of Howard. It was Mario Edwards I wasn't keen on.

Nobody was really on anyone in Saban's scheme's There's not a lot of man to man in the defense. It was a shared job between the 3 on Smith/Lelie.
 
Ive supported Howard through both of his years here where many people trashed him. He played very well Sunday and i expect he will continue. Howard is a STARTING coner in this leauge...I believe we have 3 of them on our team, one of them being shutdown.

I was very pleased with Howard's play also. We may be much better than expected at DB this year.

As long as we're playing well and winning I dont care who starts @ CB

As far as Daniels vs Webster; Webster is clearly a better player. He had a Sr. season that simply didnt match up to his Jr campaign and knocked himself out of the 1st round. As it is Webster has earned rave reviews from all the NYG coaches in the NY press for his ability to play the ball and cause TO's. Not that I think Travis is bad by any stretch. Hell how many teams can say they pulled a likely starter from rd 4 at a skill position? Not many.
 
I think we shouldn't change a thing because everything is going great and Howard did a good job this week so I say we keep him there and develope Travis Daniels through limited playing time and reps at practise.
 
howard hasnt done anything wrong has the #2 CB yet. He did terrible as a NB, therefore i dont want him there. I like it how it is.

I thought Howard played well also. It would be nice if Howard played to his contract this year. Then I think the D is somewhat set. Would like to have another good DT for the rotation.
 
Anything They Do At This Point Would Not Suprise Me, They Want To Keep It New, Not Predectable.
