Will Tua Be A Captain This Year?

He wasn't a captain last year. I found this surprising as to all extents, the QB is the leader of the team. The players vote for the captain and maybe thought Tua had enough on his plate or there was some Flores meddling. Curious what your take is and why? I think he will be and NEEDS to be.

Jesse Davis and Mack Hollins was slap in the face to Tua last year. Tua, Armstead and Hill would be my three on offense.

I think that’s a silly claim

It’s obvious he needs to step up and claim the leadership role in a new offense and a new staff.. it’s not arrogance to say that it’s common sense from being familiar with the whole situation

Brady wasnt a captain until his 5th year. It isnt the end of the world if he isnt. In fact, when he gets it we will know it's because he earned it and wasnt handed to him by the coach.

One other team didn't have a QB as captain last year. The Pats with Mac and Cheese in his rookie year.

Guess that's why 30 of 32 teams had their QB as a C? Teddy was also a C as was Fitz on the 'Skins.

Brady was a captain in 2002. He was with the Patriots in 2000. So not 5 years.

Thats why every other team besides the pats with a rookie last year all had qbs as captains.
