Will Vick Take Snaps on Thursday?

Anybody know if Vick will take any snaps on Thursday? I doubt Culpepper will play more than a series, if at all. Also, Harrington likely won't see much time.

I fully expect Lemon to get the bulk, but what happens after that? He's not going to play an entire game, is he? Also, there's no Brock.

Where's the harm?

Any word on this or am I just hoping?

I hope he plays as well. From what I understand though, he hasn't had hardly any reps in practice. So, it may do more harm than good (from his standpoint) if he does play QB, because if he stinks it up everyone will be saying "I told you he sucked". But on the other hand, if he does play and is respectable, I think that says even more about him as an athlete and a valuable player. Thus, in the end, if he plays, the end result I believe is going to be one extreme or the other.

I suspect Joey will play most of the first quarter and perhaps some of the second, and Cleo the rest of the game. It is possible Vick will come in late in the 4th against the Ram's scrubs just to see what happens, but I don't think the likelyhood is great.

I think the likelyhood of a gaget play using Vick to throw from wide reciever is far greater than him taking a snap.

They already said on ESPN that he was going to get some snaps Thursday night.

i think theres a shot at it IF vick sees enough at WR, thats his priority right now. I believe with 3 recievers being cut that he will see much more time at it.

Vick is NOT a QB for this team. NFL teams don't suddenly flip flop players at new positions after TC is over ... He's only hanging around because Saban is from WV and likes the kid. :xii:

We flip-flopped him to WR. QB would just be back to square one for him. He has been taking snaps the last couple weeks, FYI.

That's actually a reason for not keeping him. WVU and VT have a pretty strong rivalry going. Plus, one of Marcus' antics last year was that he flipped off the WVU fans.
