Jets finished the season 4-5 crapping away any chance at making the playoffs legitimately by losing to us. During that interval they outscored their opponents by a whole 5 pts.. that's about .5pts/game. How have they gotten better? If anything their running attack is the same if not worse, Sanchez is still Rex Grossman-lite, their receivers aren't awesome, their defense is older and their OL was porous but may have improved by getting rid of Hunter (as ours did by deep sixing Columbo). Keller can hurt us. Tebow's legs can possibly hurt us although despite winning that PO shocker vs Denver, he did finish last season winning only that one out of his last 5 games.
If anything they downgraded an already substandard OC position with the Meatball who may not even understand what David Lee and Henning did with the wildcat as he was pretty far removed from it.
We upgraded the coaching position, perhaps the QB position (at least ours already has testicles that have descended!), lost Marshall and Vontae, but upgraded our OL, have a killer DL, good special teams and kick returner. We lost Marshall which hurts but Hartline did a pretty good Jordy Nelson impression last weekend so we'll see. Reggie is a beast and no one including the great Foster can run on us so far.
Anyone who thinks this will be a jets blowout is smoking peyote. It'll be close and will depend on whether we can knock The Taco silly (cleanly) and get in his head cause already it looks like Tannehill is a man who's unfazed by hard hits and temporary failures.
