Ill do my best in future posts to take your criticism seriously

As most posters on our site tend to do when the green trash starts piling up.

I am sure there will be a lot of pressure, and I am sure it will affect Tanne. There is a mitigating factor that you are probably have not heard. The time before the snap is very, very different this year. The Dolphins are usually lined up by 19 seconds on the play clock. This gives Tanne 12 seconds before entering the we know it's coming time period. Most offenses yield the advantage to the defense by entering the last 7 seconds before snapping the ball. This allows the defensive line to be better prepared for the snap. The reason Tanne has made few presnap read mistakes if any is he is given 12 seconds. He is good at presnap for a Rookie, so 12 seconds is enough time. This is one of the subtle impacts Philbin has made to the Dolphins offense. I am very curious to see how the Jets defense and how Tanne use this period of time.
I think that's smart on Miami's part but I think the Jets will still be able to confuse Tannehill. The Jets were able to force BR into a timeout last week by having a bunch of defenders just walking around and not giving anything away and I believe you'll see more of that on sunday.

When did the jests sign Troy Polamalu? Terrell Suggs? DeMarcus Ware? Did I miss a trade or something? :ponder:

Isn't Snatchez's favorite target the brown eye belonging to any boy band member currently making little girls swoon?
Snatchez? Brown eye? Wow hard to argue with such an intelligent post. Did you come up with those all on your own or are you watching HBO late night again?

This is going to be a tough game. Don't think we'll be able to run the ball as effectively on them as we did on the Raiders. Also, Revis will be back and I'm sure he'll be sticking Hartline effectively taking Hartline out of the passing game for us.

I think we will break 100 no problem. We have a very comparable OL and RB's to Pittsburgh and Buffalo if not better on OL. NYJ have allowed 250+ yds rushing.

I dont think that the Jets will be able to blitz as much as they would like because of the no-huddle. Not much time to react to situations. Tanny was under center way more vs. Raiders than Houston. The playaction will work nicely this week.

The gameplan is to wear down the Jets. Not turn the ball over. Play great field postion. and Force Sanchez into his mistakes. He was 10-27 vs. Pittsburgh. Kurley is the guy I fear the most because he is fast and big part of their packages. I think we stuff their run much like Pitt did. It will come down to big plays. Who makes the most and that includes special teams.

3 key guys did not practice today. Eric Smith with a hip, one starting LB who's name escapes me, and another starter on D. I think those injuries are key to how they gameplan us but they have not seen a no huddle like we run yet. Buffalo's is not a real one. Tannehill will read that D and the blitzes and be ready for it. The dude just rocks.

Its going to be hot in south florida sunday. Reggie is going to break another one in the fourth quarter.

I hope they wander alot. While Tanny makes call at LOS in no huddle. They have seen that on film. The rook can handle it. Will he get sacked? Sure, but not turning the ball over and getting back up and making big play the next play is key.

dustin keller on a hammy and bryan thomas also on a hammy.

These guys are ripe to wear down effect.

Fins win 17 - 16 in a tough defensive struggle. Carpenter hits from 50 yds as time runs out..
Jets score on 3 fistpumps and a Revis pick 6. I'm assuming he'll be all over Hartline.

If we don't turn the ball over I see us winning it by about 7-10 points. I am guessing Phins 20 Jets 17.

Comparing Ben Roethlisberger's mobility to Tannehill's is a joke. YES, Ben is a big QB and he can shrug off some pass rushers, but Ben also is always limping around and has very limited mobility, UNLIKE Tannehill who can sprint out of the pocket and run for first downs when need be. Also the Dolphins now run a hurry-up offense, and it should be around 90 degrees and humid on Sunday. Good luck staying with Tannehill and Reggie Bush.

Keller would defly be a loss.....but last week, with Thomas out, his fill in (McIntyer) had 2 sacks, made some nice rn stops and looked very fast.....hopefully he can have another effective game if he plays

Unfortunately, Revis hasn't been cleared for contact....him playing is iffy at best

And thats why it's so important for the Jets / Mark to control the clock and keep the Jet Def fresh. If not, by the 4th quarter....reggie could be approaching 200 yds from scrimmage

This is also why I see Tebow having a big influence on this game. So the jets can control the clock.
