To me, this is priority #1 this offseason (well, 1B, along with the o-line makeover). He's given us something that we haven't had for years, a lockdown corner. I know he's on the wrong side of 30 now, but he seems as athletic as ever. We've got the cap room, so will we do it?

Unless Patterson is sign beyond this season? What the hell are we going to do with that guy? Also, is anyone else nervous because Taylor and Davis has yet to play any significant amount of games so far this season? Additionally, with guys like Carroll and Wilson i believe in the last year of their contract it becomes imperative that we know what we have in these rookies.

I think the ball will be in Grimes court unless we force him to stay and tag him. If the front office an coach leave I see the two young comers playing for better or worse and Grimes and Patterson leaving. Probably big Paul and Starks also. Could get ugly before it gets better.

we would have to tag him. If I were him, this is not a team I'd like to come back to.

I WISH/HOPE he comes back, but I'm not hopeful. :-/

Patterson is signed for 2014 free agent in 2015.

Wow didn't realize he was 30....It will be interesting to see what happens considering we got 2 rookie CB's riding the pine.

He says he want to be in Miami. It's up to the front office.

To be honest I'd be very surprised if we lost him. I think he's candidate #1 for the tag if we can't reach say a 3 year 24 mil contract.
