I don't know if their contracts end or what. Do you think they will finish their careers as Dolphins? If we go on a SB run in the next two years I hope they are here.

Depends on who the head coach is next season. If Saban stays, I think there is a good chance they will remain. If Saban takes the Alabama job that he has been offered, the new coach may elect to blow up the roster and start over.

If we were to trade one of them, I'd rather see it be Zach then JT. I think our debth at LB is better than at DE. But who knows? I'd say almost anyone could be gone next year.

This is Rediculous.Every year we get this thread. Offcourse, they will be back next year Zach and Jason have been restructuring their contracts to stay with the the Dolphins all their careers, and their contracts are so filled with incentives that they make enogh money to restructure them. ZAch and JT will retire Dolphins....

Yeah, anyone BUT JT!

I think it's more probable that they just reduce Zach's role a little & re-do his contract, but who knows?

We need another young LB and DE among other tings....

It's crazy every time I see the coach from the jaguars now. He is the guy who Zach beat out as a rookie & now he's a head coach & 55 is still playing...

:dolphins:

yeah their both gonna stay I mean why would we cut them.

I don't think ZT will be with us after this year. The best defense for him is the 4-3. He may lad the team in tackles however, do you hear his name much anymore. We can trade him for a 3rd-5th rd draft pick.

Where do you think he is going ? This guy is making big money in the NFL, he is not going anywhere for a long while. This is a big challenge for him, and he won't stop until they win the big one. As Thomas and Taylor, they are team players, I don't think they are doing this for the money or else they would already be gone. They all want to win in Miami !

Lets see, someone who is top 3 in the tackles every year or some 4th round project.

:hmmm:

That slope is a lot slippier than it looks like.

Stats can be misleading and in the end game, stats aren't as important as improving, & getting younger as a team. Wanny built the team like that, based on stats.

Remember what he said in the preseason of his last year here?

He said we had a chance to be the all time best defense. What a complete maroone. Teams need to constantly get younger and improve, not stagnate based on 'pretty looking' stats....

Well I do know that there still isn't any one better in the league at flying to the ball. Watch the game tomorrow and see how many times you see #54 getting off the pile. He is ALWAYS by the play.

Sexton, Saban's agent, met with Alamaba team officials to discuss possibly becoming the next head coach of the Tide. Sources say that the discussion went so far that it ended with them offering the job to Saban.

Something must be up if his agent is willing to even meet with them.
