Williams' Dolphins stay will be short-lived

It is a shame that this article is full of garbage.

But more likely, Saban is either going to trade Williams or cut him.

Idiot.....

The lack of talent in sportswriting today is epic.
Yes the Dolphins would bring back Ricky Williams only to cut him after preseason. They'd wast a roster spot just to spite Ricky and say "this time we cut you!"..... idiot. :shakeno:

There is zero chance the Fins simply cut Ricky and this guy made himself look like a complete tool even suggesting it.

:yeahthat:

I dont think its a bad read, Ricky wont be traded during or after the preseason, but chances are he will be traded eventually.

Ricky's trade comes in the draft. We'll use him to move up. If a team finishes at the top of the draft, they need a lot of help. If we swap our number one and throw in Ricky (assuming he has proved himself this year) the team gets two quality players for one pick.

This fundamental assumption is that Ricky gets enough time to prove he can still play.

notice that article came from baltimore.... were in miami....they are just jealous

K, you don't bring back a traitor, but you trade him? To who? World league? What;'s the going rate from traitors? He's got no value, he's not going anywhere unless he racks up 1,000+ yards.

Pot smoker? Ah, that's played and unoriginal. He' s submitted for drug tests for how long now? I quit smoking last year, so you can't say I'm a smoker. Ricky got high, now he's clean, get over it.

Should Ricky get the opportunity to play and prove he still has skills, he will be valued at whatever the market will offer for him. Of course he has no value as a trade today, he hasn't proven his ability yet. Over the course of the season he will show his worth or lack thereof. If he shows he still has skills, someone will want him.
