why didnt we go after him hes good in pass blocking yet we showed no interest. i understand hes coming off a major injury but i mean come on he only got a 1 yr 2 mil deal, we couldnt offer same with incentives to go up to 3-3.5mil. am i missing something?

We can have McKinnie who is basically on par talent wise at this point in his career as Colon.
We can have McKinnie at a vet minimum contract.
We can have McKinnie who is already somewhat familiar with the Dolphins organization, etc.
So in short answer, if you want Colon, might as well get McKinnie.

I watched Colon a lot last year living in New York ,he is OK but his downfall is the penaltys and playing with the guy from Seattle next to him ,they will probably set a record for penaltys

every time some fan gets rattled a player they liked doesnt come here its ALL BECAUSE THE GM DROPPED THE BALL OR IS STUPID!!
colon was another player who was hanging around for his team to sign him back. they probably had a wait and see deal with him like shreif did with new orleans.
NOW you know why hickey "didnt" go after him. he was staying with the jets.
EVERY TIME A PLAYER DOESNT SIGN WITH A TEAM ITS NOT BECAUSE THE GM DROPPED THE BALL. sometimes the player just doesnt want that team or the wife doesnt want to live in that particular city or the player has a handshake agreement with and resign with his team. maybe the player wants to stay on the west coast or east coast, etc.... .
