This kid is exactly what is right and perfect about baseball. HE stands for everything we wish we could see out of the marlin's management.

If they ever want to get us (season ticket holders like me) happy with them again after this crap they just pulled.

they need to sign this guy long term and all.

Great story. Willis truly is a class act. I love how he's always smiling and it looking like he's playing the game for the right reason (because he loves to play it) and not because of money and greed like most players are these days.

I wish we could hear more stories like this instead of the usual "Player A is unhappy and wants to be traded" or "Player B is pissed because he wants 2 million dollars more a year".

I'll always root for Willis, he seems like a great kid, the story just proves it.

EDIT - I did it all manually, and man I am proud this guy is a Marlin. I hope the Marlins stay down here and that he and Cabrera are the faces of the Franchise for years to come. Please don't take my Marlins!!!
