Do these guys have any future with the team? Wilson progressed enough later in the year to be signed off the practice squad, and Mormino didn't make it out of training camp due to injury. I realize they are not "Bill's" guys, but Wilson was known for his run blocking in college. What do you think?

Mormino competed last year for the starting RG spot. He has good size and I think could compete for the position again this year

I think Mormino is going to end up like another Joe Toledo... Dont ask why, just got a bad feeling. Our track records with rookie injuries isnt very good

if anything mormino will compete at the left spot, im pretty sure smileys already got the right spot on lockdown.

I have high hopes for him. He showed something in the preseason, unlike Alabi.

I thought Mormino was going to be our starting RG before we signed Smiley. I think he'll provide good depth behind Smiley and Satele now.

as for Wilson, we have what 2 OT on the roster right now? I think he sticks until another comes along to replace him.

at 299lbs I can see Mormino more as a center than as a guard...problem with that is that we have a good center already....if Mormino comes back bigger and stronger this year then he has a chance to make the team.

Ozzy rules!!

I believe he will give them a chance ( I can really say they are not "Bill's guys) b/c if that was really true they would have been cut along with Toledo and Alabi

Mormino is a Parcells guy in terms of his demeanor, but certainly not in terms of his size. But he may play bigger and tougher than he actually is, so we'll see. At worst, I see him sticking as a reserve.

Wilson is a crapshoot. He was an UDFA last year, and who really knows how he has developed with a year on the PS. He should compete for a roster spot in camp.

From training camp last year....
Mormino looks good, but has poor endurance. Mormino competed with Liewinski at Left Guard last year.

Wilson lacks mobility to play tackle... unless he starts riding the bike... I don't see a future for him at that position... perhaps he is a good backup guard, like Alabi.

Esera looked good to me at Guard and Tackle... good mobility, but perhaps a little small. He can eat more, though. It's a lot easier teaching someone to eat and get fatter, than making somebody run faster.
