At some point, honest dolphans are gonna have to ask: How many times can the Trifecta be so wrong on players they have NFL game tape on?
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN YOU THROW AWAY ON SLOW FOOTED and SLOW REACTING players that have already been declared marginal by NFL reality? The Dolphins can't keep burning millions of dollars in fat contracts and guaranteed money on people like Wilford and Wilson. Just look at the money burned in those two fat contracts, and the money burned on the fat contract of Long and the OL -- again slow footed and marginal in space, but big! -- and you see why the team is so limited in talent across the board.
You get high and overspend for marginal talent at key positions, and you simply have less to sign real skill guys, across the board.
You wonder why Miami is limited in talent, ask no further than the money spent on bigger, less skilled players like Wilford, Wilson, Long and OL [terrible pass blocking], Turner and slow WRs, ILBs....
If we even just had the money back that was burned on Wilford and Wilson, how does that money look now, on maybe getting a Coles or other skilled WR? etc. etc. etc.
At some point dolphans are gonna have to hold the Trifecta accountable for moves there is no good reason to miss. You have NFL tape on a man, there is NO EXCUSE.
