Game against NE becomes meaningless, unless the 5th seed is in reach. A lot easier said than done (the Buffalo game really worries me). The Pit/Bal game does not matter because we benefit no matter who wins or if there is a tie.

The Dolphins can clinch a wild-card playoff berth next weekend if they win at Buffalo on Saturday and if Denver loses at Kansas City on Sunday night.

Even with this being true, I'd really prefer the Steelers to win. The Ravens and Flacco are way scarier than Pittsburgh right now in the playoffs.

I think Ravens are still getting revenge for allowing us to go 1-15. See the 2008 Wild Card.. and a few weeks ago.
 
I'm going to be a huge Chargers fan when they play KC in the final week if Miami clinches next week. I would love to have the 5th seed and play the AFC South winner.

I really do not care who we face in the playoffs if we manage to get there. Considering the expectations before the season, how it started, and it being dubious whether Tannehill will be back this year, I will be just happy to be there -- just like 2008. I was at that playoff game, and even though we got destroyed, I was just glad to be there considering we went 1-15 the year before. Next year, my expectations will go up exponentially. This year, I just want to get in.
 
total pipe dream, but there is a chance at a home AFC championship game!?! That would be redonkulous!!!!!
 
I thought Tennesse had to lose too. Right now they and the Texans can go 10-6. That matters bc if we do go 10-6 we lose out to the Titans

As long as Denver loses one of their next two, and we win one, we are in.

They play each other in week 17. With one more win, we are guaranteed to finish ahead of the loser of that game (with the winner taking the south).
 
If we go 1-1 and Denver goes 1-1 are we still in? Or do too many variable pop up?

If Baltimore finishes 10-6, they win their division. They aren't a factor. If Miami and Pittsburgh finish 10-6, Miami wins the head to head tiebreaker.

If Baltimore finishes 10-6, they win their division. And then if Denver, Miami, and Pittsburgh all finish 10-6, Pittsburgh gets the 6th seed.
