It's the possibility of them doing neither that scares me. If they're gonna do the Tannehill thing then they really need to build the roster for the future, which means acquiring more draft picks for 2013 and 2014. This means trading guys like Karlos Dansby and anyone else who is over 26 years old. Long is even a possibility because he seems to be accruing injuries and by the time Miami can move forward he might be over the hill. I still don't know I'd be bold enough to do that though, as his replacement would have to be a top 5 pick too down the line. Still, any proven NFL players on their roster would have to be considered trade bait at this point if any kind of real rebuilding can be done.

If not, then they need to give the current roster as much of a shot in the arm as possible. Strongly consider the best tackle available, or make a move like trading up to get Blackmon, as you're no one without a #1 WR. Moore had developed excellent chemistry with Brandon Marshall, who coming off just a ridiculous performance at the Pro Bowl led me to believe an excellent season was forthcoming with those two. The cowardly move to trade him for less value than you paid, even though he had shown that his skills had not diminished AT ALL is just one more skid-mark on the panties that Ireland wears on the outside. With zero facts in about the incident, Ireland just pissed his pants and scrambled to get any value for Marshall after that incident. Cowardly, foolish, and another major setback for Miami who now has to make a bold move to replace a ProBowl MVP-caliber player. Can you tell I didn't like the move?

I hate to say it, but I think that Marshall move ultimately pushes Miami into rebuilding mode. There just isn't enough talent on the roster to make it a legit playoff contender even if they hit on their picks this year, which we know they won't because they're G D idiots.

There needs to be a re-write of Dante's Inferno to include an 8th Level of Hell where Dolphin fans reside after death.

They are on a 3-year plan IMO. At least that's how long I think Ross is willing to give Ireland and Philbin. It's obvious to me Ross believes or even knows when the Tuna was here it was his show alone. Contrary to what so called Phin fans may think Ireland is a respected talent evaluator. Whether he's a good GM we'll soon find out.

I think its pretty obvious we are rebuiling.

Honestly, I don't think we ever stop rebuilding. This team rebuilds year in year out. I think finheaven's favorite word behind "mediorce" is "rebuilding". At lease we always have an excuse as to why our expectations are low.

Been rebuilding about 10 years. Been losing about 10 years.
