Was riding up to Michigan today to see me mom. Rich Gannon was mentioning on Sirius radio that Dennis Allen could be fired on Sunday if the Raiders lose to Dolphins. He said the most probable interim coach would be Tony Sporano. He now serves as some consultant to the Raiders.

So the Dolphins could end up getting Tony a new gig with a impressive victory. What an ironic twist.

Of course if we lose Philbin could be the odd man out and Allen keeps his job.

I like Tony ... just not as our head coach. Let's give him that new gig if only for the rest of this season.

I say F it, Fire Philbin and make Lazor the interim. If we're gonna crash, crash with a noob throwing everything at the wall.

good for meatball :hump:

and good for us if he's still there next time we play them.

The Raiders have a good defense and some good pieces on offense. It was hard to see with all of the dysfunction. But considering Tony is a "Rah Rah" coach who endears himself to his players and the respect D. Carr won for himself on his last play.... this team will lack coaching but all of their players will ball out in this 2nd chance at a 2014 season. I'm glad we played them when we did.

This team would be a good spoiler team down the stretch. It's not a team I would look past with their new found alignment and "us against the world" mentality. These guys will be playing loose and playing for their football lives. That's never a good thing to hear if you are an opponent.

Don't get me wrong, I love this Sparano reaction, but lets be honest, that fg made the game a 2 score game with just over 4 minutes left. It was a pretty big field goal.

Tony unfortunately wasn't good for us but you got to give him props for doing what he could. Ireland wasn't good, Pennington goes down his replacement Henne sucked. Hope he gets the Raiders a few W's

Especially in week 16 against Buffalo.

I give him props for nothing.

He also got that excited at 3-0 in the first quarter.

This is true lol i remember that.

Tony's a decent guy who's way over his head at HC. i really wish him well but O line coach is probably his calling in life.
He'll rally the Raider's and win a few game (Buffalo) but by next year he'll be back where he belongs.

I feel like so 2009 watching Tony's presser. What a bad time of my life. Such a waste of time, money and angst.
