Some of you guys are way out there. We are three games into the season and people are screaming fire this guy and fire that guy. There were a lot of changes since we let Ireland go. We have a lot to be optimistic about. Yea I'm frustrated that we lost also, hell I been a Miami fan since I was a kid. Now I'm 38.. So I been through all the good and bad with this Team. One thing that makes losing worse is when you lose a game and you dread going to the fan site to discuss things with others only to read nothing but FIRE FIRE FIRE! After 3 games.. C'mon really? Give this Team some damn time, we will never ever get better by changing the office every damn year. And Negativity only drags us all down even lower.. Love this team win or lose. There are 32 other Teams that lose games each year also. Only 1 team was able to pull off a perfect season.. Can we at least calm down for a few weeks and see what the BIG PICTURE will look like and let the new coordinator, 3rd year QB, still fairly new considerate owner, and this rookie class get a fair shot and take their lumps before they get banished from the NFL forever.. The season is far from over.
 
I have always wondered where exactly in the season one could make a good assessment of the team based on these threads that always pop up after losses. "It's only 1 game in." "It's only been two games!1!" "Brosephs, it's only been, like, 3 games!" "Homies, it's only been 15 games, you are acting like it was the last game of the season."

Though, they usually don't pop up until Wednesday when people start hyping themselves up for the disappointment of the next game.
 
Here's how I see it:

The Dolphins stink. Team has 13 games to change that. I'm not banking on it, but if they do turn it around, hey, I'll still be here. But right now, the team stinks.
 
I'm looking more like, it's been only 10 years. Rebuilds, coaching changes, multiple lame ducks at quarterbacks, sorry draft picks and clueless head coaches. I've endured it all as a fan so when I see a familiar trend, its fair to feel deja vu. This team looks worse than last year.

And I'm looking at it like, I've spent waaay too much time of my spring and summer, reading practice reports...getting myself pumped up for the season, thinking playoffs etc etc, just to be devastated by week 3. And now I'm under the realization that, not only are we not a playoff contender, we may be the bottom of the barrel. Not going to give myself false hope anymore.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on who you want in the draft), we're bad, but not Raiders or Jags terrible.
 
We will win just enough to throw us out of reach of an impact player in the draft. Heck, does it really matter, we would whiff on the pick anyway.

I havent watched them this year, but i cant see us being much better.
 
I used to be a sympathizer, but COME ON! We went 8-8 last season, we supposedly improved our team in the offseason, there is no time to "give them time to click" or "give this guy some time." A good football team does not lose to the Bills (granted they are better than last year) by 19 points. A good football team does not lose to that Chiefs team without Jamaal Charles AT HOME by 19 ponits. They said this is the season that Tannehill should take the "Next Step." Well, it looks like the steps are going down because he hasn't been good at all this season.

We had the chance to make the playoffs last year and came out flat against the Bills and Jets....that's coaching. I wanted Philbin fired after that collapse. I think they have the talent to win, but the coaching is telling me otherwise. I just wish we had a later Bye Week, so we could fire him during the Bye. I doubt he gets fired until the offseason, unfortunately.
 
We have lost 4 of last 5 games and were blown out in all 4 losses what more do you need to see.

I was thinking the same thing after I posted it, but talent-wise, we're better. Same thing goes for KC with their seven injured starters and we saw what happened. We just happen to have godawful coaching, which only highlights our talent-deficiencies, whereas good coaches mask that.
 
I would naturally agree with the..hey guys three games calm down but unfortunately we have stared mediocrity in the face for years and I know you should give a QB/Coach 3 years esp. that he lacks the 4 year college experience behind the helm as other QBs but i lost the ability to wait that long.

If i went into a coma in 2007 and woke up today looking at Miami would not convince me it has been 7 years as the team looks exactly the same but with new names. The fluidity in the game is not there as when I watch other teams. I don't see the team ride the momentum and just destroy anyone nor do I see the 4th quarter comebacks.

you know what the raiders are thinking?

they're playing the dolphins and this is the week they get their first win. how's that for perspective.

No we have lost 2 out of 3.. That was a different Team with a different line and a different OC.. I am pissed that we are losing also, just not willing to throw in the towel and give up on the season we been waiting for over 2 losses. When we get mathematically eliminated from playoff contention I will be on here screaming fire some asses also.. I hope this Team can figure out what to do fast.. Offseason is long enough without giving up 4 games into a season.. And not coming to the board to discuss or read about my football team sucks haha.. Then again who the hell am I to say accept defeat and mediocracy.. Sorry just have a bit of optimism to share at this moment. Fingers are crossed.. I will say fire Dion Jordan haha.. What a idiot!
