Do you prefer winning like this or looking good like when we played Indy but still losing?
 
The NFL doesn't give a sh*t how good you look when you lose. A loss goes in the L column and a win goes in the W column. That's it.
 
We lost two games we should have won (Colts & Saint's game) and you could say that karma played a part in us beating the Jets and Bucs, even though they were "ugly" wins....it still looks the same in the won/loss column, so I think things just have a way of evening out.

Please explain how a win makes you look like a bad team? I fail to see how you like bad if you win?

The bottom line is a W is a W. It doesn't matter how you get it, or who is comes against, a W is always better than a loss.
 
You ever play golf? I have had some really ugly pars...but you know what, when I add up the score I don't have to add any strokes for the ugly ones...they count the same as the pretty ones.

I'll take the ugliest, ref-aided, should-have-lost game that we won...over any game we lost. A "W" is a "W"....
 
R u guys kidding me? Who would ever take a loss??? Thats like New England winning with or without cameras either way they won and thats all that matters.
 
its funny how people call our wins ugly but they forget how many ugly wins we had last year against an easy schedule and yet people hailed that team as if they were super bowl champs. a win is a win.
 
We better win any way we can get it. I just checked out how the Panthers played today. They're on the upswing for some reason. They're 4-5 now. They beat the Falcons 28-19. I thought the Falcons looked pretty good against us in Week 1. Looks like Steve Smith burned them. Our DBs better work their butts off to get ready for Smith. He could easily burn us. Especially since it's in Charlotte.
 
like others have said a W is a W. You take the ugly win and you learn from it and take the point for the Win Column with it.

yes, them and the titans. both of those teams and the bucs looked like easy games a few weeks ago. thats how it goes in the nfl. you cant take any team for granted, no matter what their record is. you play to win. this isnt ncaa where you beat teams by 50. if henne didnt throw that pick this thread wouldnt exist.

wrong, u get something good out of losing, better draft picks. When u win when rly u should be losing u dont get nuttin and usually dont even get in the playoffs and if u do get the in playoffs u get ur *** kicked in the first round and get placed higher in the draft.
