WINNERS

• Matt Moore: Vying for backup job, Moore led two touchdown drives — one just before the half, the other just after.
• Rishard Matthews: Tapped his toes on a 9-yard touchdown catch. His stock for the No. 5 WR job is rising.
• Olivier Vernon: Recovered nicely from a back injury, dropping Mike Glennon for a sack in the second quarter.
LOSERS
• Dallas Thomas: Will be having nightmares about Gerald McCoy for a long time. Don't be surprised if there's a change at right guard.
• Jimmy Wilson: The Buccaneers’ yards after contact was gaudy — and Wilson’s poor tackling a major factor.
• Dannell Ellerbe: A holding call negated a sack in the first half and extended a Tampa Bay drive.

Eh, nice hustle on the play by Vernon, but that was such a Vernon sack. Wake flushes the QB right into Vernon's lap.

Our front seven, and then our back ups are awesome. We have a Stout rotation. Now only we can get this LBer **** handled.
Anyone notice how hard and aggressive Miami was coming though. Kept hearing load pops all night. Much improved over last week.

Wallace must be embarrassed watching all the other receivers out perform him.
Even David Cone :chuckle:

Moore solidifies the # 2. Quinn looked mediocre.

Misi was decent..

Grimes gave up a touchdown and then took away a touchdown. What a hustle play!

Will Davis will be on the field allot this year. Like how he jumps the routes.

Did Wheeler do his ususl running in circles because he had nothing in the stat line?

Wheeler did nothing of note. Ellerbe had a couple of decent plays against the run, but the PI was horrible. IMHO the way they were subbing, they are considering working one of the rookies into the fold to replace one of these under-performers over the course of the season, and they are toying with the lineup in the games now to see how either rookie responds in with two of the vets.

Matthews at #5 WR? That kid is competing for #4 in my mind. At this point I hope the other WRs are calling their agents bc I don't see anybody making it unless we keep 6 which will prob be locked up by Williams.

hit him in the knees next time jimmy...its legal and he is 6'5" 230.

Quinn is preseason arm for practice purposes. He will be in the booth doing color by game 1.
