Some how people are getting away with rating the jets and the pats over the dolphins even though they both failed to defeat the dolphins in the division, and we all face a large amount of top notch pass rushing defenses and brady has is coming off of major knee surgery and sanchez is a rook with 1 yr of college experience. (or they go with clemons who doesn't provide much danger.)

I mean really, think of Palmer coming back from knee surgery, it took awhile for him to get his mental edge back, and even longer to re-establish his relationships with his receivers. And sanchez only has 1 yr of looking at college schemes, NFL teams are going to eat him alive this year.

maybe we, the dolphins, dont have as good a year as last year; but that in way correlates to the other teams in our division having a better one. We don't have to be in first place in the NFL, we have to come in first in our division, and that seems just as likely as any other team in it. I personally think it makes it more so.

In the UK, one bookmaker are giving Miami 9/1 on winning the AFC East.

So for every 10 pound staked, they'll give you 100 back.

I'm getting as much on as i can!!!

It is kind of annoying that the Pats have been accepted pretty much officially as the favorites of the afc east. The jets however, some people may be saying that but most of what i've read and heard has miami at 2nd. Most note what you said about sanchez. i am annoyed that the pats are just generally accepted as first. they def do have a dangerous squad though. But i agree with you, Brady is coming off a complete season (almost) of injury and no football. He may come back in superb form but i think people are too quick to make a god of him. Peyton Manning, who i still beleive is the best qb rite now, had a very rough first half after coming off his injury, brady is not immune. I think it should be more of a toss up than everyone wants to beleive. But with the way analysts suck, and the leaque is pretty level i wouldnt be too surprised if buffallo stole it...who knows.

Brady will be playing well by the time we face them. I expect him to miss plays and make mistakes for 4-6 games. After that, he should be at 80% of his potential. We have to at least split with the Pats to win the division. We have a chance to sweep the Jets because of the timing for the games. Sanchez will not have enough experience to start playing well, and we will have enough film to pick on some tendencies. It is best for the Jets if they hold him out for a couple of weeks, but I doubt that happens with Ryan in charge.

It really comes down to a fast start. If we manage to win those first three games, we have a good chance for a repeat. It will be a tall order to start 3-0. The only way I see it is if we establish a dominant running game from the first game versus the Falcons.
