The most southern team in the AFC isn't in the south. Talk about realignment. Indy should have stayed in the east and we should be in the south. Travel would be less on our team as well for division games. I know this doesn't matter right now but it's just another way the league screws Miami over in every aspect possible. Sure would've been better playing Tenn, Jax, Hou, twice a year

Rumor is if they ever add a london team miami will go to the afc south

I love it the way it is. Yeah it makes the road to the playoffs harder, but winning a division game means big disappointment for another team's playoff hopes, just makes it sweeter.

Also, if it takes a Bills loss at home and a Jets loss in London to get our FO to can Philbin, sign me up.

Was just thinking about this yesterday, the AFC could use some reshuffling.

If we were in the South I would miss our rivalry with the Jets and the Patriots.. but most certainly the Jets...no one cares about the Bills anymore do they.. well unless we lose ;)

I been saying that for years. Stupid we in the east. I didn't understand why Colts got to go and where more south then them. But it's no excuse. We need players. No O line, No D line, No linebackers and NO QB... Tannehill is below Average with No O line... With a O line. He is average. Needs to make plays with his feet like Russell Wilson does. He has no O line either and plays well. I don't want a guy in the future if our starting Linemen goes down. He will play terrible. Hell no. But I will give him 1 more year. Hope we draft a QB in the 3rd round.

I felt this way when the last re-alignment took place. How is Miami not in the south and Indy is? I think the only reason they did it was because of our "rivalries" which would attract more TV attention.

I actually agree with you. Makes sense

Miami is on the East coast no? Each division has a couple of cupcake teams and one dominant team, what would be the difference of switching divisions?

Stop crying. Want not part of the AFC south. Dallas is in east. STL in the west. Just the way it is.

Have thought about this before, you can be sure this team would've made the playoffs 5-6 times in the last decade if it were in the South

and then lost to a WC team if we were not the WC team ourselves - in which case we would have lost anyway.
Face it.. we are not that good.

There is a reason why Florida teams end up in divisions with teams from the North. Look at Tampa Bay Rays, they are in the AL East with NY, Boston, Toronto, Baltimore etc. The reason is called: SNOWBIRDS!

I am a season ticket holder and it makes me so mad when I see a ton of Bills, Jets, Pats fans in our stadium. But you know what? They all live in FL! The league designed it this way to ensure ticket sales.

Rivalries? We don't have any rivalries within the division anymore. We consistently get beat by the other teams.
