I am convinced a young DT/NT will be drafted by Miami. The question is what round. But I am convinced one will be drafted. There are no more viable options in free agency. The Dolphins will have to rely on Wright, Vickerson, Green, and even Shaw. I do believe a DT will be in the first three rounds.

We could go DT, but with Wright and Vickerson from last year I don't think it'll be round 1.

did that last year. 2 of them. and his name is vickerson, not vickerman
 
We are in need of some depth i consider it a need but not a huge and glaring need. With that said we have shaw, traylor, holliday,zgonina, vickerson, wright, i would say with one of our 7th round picks we pick up a DT, not a huge enough need to spend a 16th overall on. And one last thing im very tired of everyone saying to draft lendale white, so many of us disagree with this, and i thank god there arent too many thinking that, We are going Saftey, OL or LB, WR still . haha:dolphins:
 
We have way too many concerns to be thinking another DB before on the first day of the draft...... i can't see it happening.....

Hopefully wright comes through ..
 
yeah i thinkwe have a solid crew at dl i would of loved to have gotten adams b/c he is the best dt especially 3-4 but we are solid there so i think we need to look cb/s and lb and maybe draft a ot and a c late in the draft

I have to completely disagree with you based on Saban's most recent interview stating that one of the highest priorities is getting a NT. With that said I think were happy with another year with Traylor, but with a young NT grooming behind him that can be picked up from this years draft. I don't necessarily think it will be a 1st round pick, but definitely a first day pick.

I agree that someone will be drafted, and I currently think it will be round in 4. We definitely need some youth, but we don't need to spend a day one pick. We currently have some nice youth at the DT spot, I just think we need one more developmental player. This is what our D-line currently looks like:

DE- Kevin Carter - Matt Roth
DT- Keith Traylor - Manuel Wright - Kevin Vickerson - Josh Shaw
DT- Vonnie Holliday - Jeff Zgonina - Orin Thompson - Howard Green
DE- Jason Taylor - David Bowens

Obviously our starting front four is AMAZING! Bowens is a very good backup at DE, and Roth I think will improve a lot this season. So, DE is set.

One player from last year that I think doesn't get as much attention and respect as I think he should is Holliday. He had a tremendous year last year and he will dominate inside once again. Traylor worries me a bit. When healthy he is a force, but at his age and size he can't be counted on to start the entire season. That is where players like Wright and Vickerson need to step up. Zgonina does an ok job, but if we draft a new DT, I bet he gets released.

phinsfan- jay....u sound like u got some inside info stating that we for sure will go safety, corner, or lb, u wanna share???????what makes u so sure that if chad jackson is sitting there he wont be scooped up by nick??? i believe we go jackson if he's on the board
