With all the shortcomings noted about this team...

Here are some positive things to add.

1. Booker, Gilmore and Welker look like they are in a better position to help this team on offense, and Gus looks like he can spread it around.

2. There are some player to develop, unlike last year with a certain coach attempting to save his job.

3. The OL likely will play better, as they can only do.

4. There is less distraction this year and a new system to learn, which is where most of the focus should go.

5. The new guys look like long-term keepers.

6. I am not expecting much therefore things should be better.

yeah i went back and watched a little more of the first few drives and the line wasn't THAT bad, a few problems were jeno not feeling 100% healthy, hadnot really only playing center for a few days, and st. clair having to jump into the RG spot... the switching might have caused extra confusion, especially with all the blitzes coming at us... i think we'll be ok, after a few more preseason games we'll really be able to see the big picture and know what direction we are headed in

Ya... we were experimenting with o-line posistions and people... they definatly were not ready for the amount of blitzing the bears brought...
