Say we pick up 10 new people in the draft, where we gonna fit em all i mean most of our defense is set we could use corners but are we gonna replace 10 people on our team?

I pretty sure some of those picks we are going to trade to try to move up.

Few people on our roster right now are guaranteed to be there a year from now. Pretty much everyone we have now is expendable with only a few exceptions.

As the case with most drafts...not all 10 (or 7 or whatever # we may have at any given year) of the players drafted will stick with the team.

Well, we are likely going to have 9 or 8 picks come the actual draft. One or two of the picks are likely headed to KC.

We have 5 picks during the the 6th and 7th round. If just one of those picks turns into a decent player, then we earned a net gain.

WE SHOULD DRAFT THE RIGHTS TO JEFF SAMARDZJA IN THE 7TH ROUND!

Don't forget about the UDRFA we will bring into camp too.

Randy and Cam have repeatedly said one of their top priorities is to get the team younger. You do that with multiple draft picks.

One thing I would do if I was Mueller is try and get some picks for the 08' draft.

Couple of things he could do:

1. Trade out of the 3rd round, pick up a 4th this year and a 4th or 5th next year.
2. Trade the early 7th round pick straight up for a 6th rounder next year.

When you have this much ammo in one year, you use it to your advantage to build huge ammounts of picks every year. Look at the Patriots, there is a reason why they have so many picks every year. You have to use the ones you have now to help stockpile for future drafts.
