With all these uniform threads decided to take a crack at it...

So was noticing alot of threads involving the uniforms and how some of us want to see something new, so I decided I'll give it an update of my own and see what you guys think...

Gotta give you props for creativity. Looks like you put a lot of work into it. VERY updated, big departure from the "classic" Fins uni. Looks more like 21st century unis vice old school. I like the mean dolphin more than the football logo. I think I will say no more and stew on it for a while. Growing up with the Fins I'm attached to the "old school" stuff, this is (to me) a radical change. I hope you hear appreciation cause it is intended. Peace.
 
Nice effort, but I can't say I am on board. The primary logo's dolphin looks like he is coming off a three day crack binge looking for his next hit. Meanwhile the sun looks like a logo for some off brand asian crackers.

The secondary logo has one visual focus: a gigantic football. Sorry, this will not get it done.

One positive in the uniform scheme is the dorsal fin pant stripes leading to the same under the arms of the jerseys. Not a bad idea that could be worked with. The number scheme however is way too gangsta to be taken seriously.
 
I really like the dolphin, but the the helmet not so much lol. But damn, good job! You're very creative.
 
I am in favor of most any kind of change at this point. I like it but I am not real crazy about the orange back ground. Maybe make it more of a ring rather than a complete back ground. The dolphin it's self looks pretty good though. The helmet on the dolphins looks maybe a little bit too big or something also. JMO but I do like it.

Also I like the uniforms, the orange on the shoulders look like they could be a little smaller, but I definitly love the navy mixed in. I would love to see some navy uniforms this year. Those practice uniforms that are navy looks awesome.

Did you make it face left for any reason or did it just work out that way?

Only Philly and Tampa have logos facing left by the way.
 
Thank you for your opinions. This was not meant to be taken too seriously but just some ideas that I had in the head swirling around and figured I might as well put it on the forum... Yeah I appreciate constructive criticism and actually like what you guys have to say...

Yeah just turned out that way... Funny that you mention that cuz I didnt even notice till u brought it up...
 
OMG. LOVE the dolphin. that's what i'm talkin about: mean! touch up the dolphins helmet some, lose the background & i'm sold. the rest of the uniform... um, no. get the fin thingies off his legs & he's fine waist down. the jersey, just go back to the drawing board & start over is simplest.
 
those are nice illustrations, but as a logo they would not hold up. the purpose of a logo is to be simple, recognizable, to the point, and they have to hold up when shrunken down. this is why making logos is so difficult... but as i said, nice illustrations.
 
I like all aspects of it. It is unique and has a lot of character and I like that,you don't find that much detail to things nowdays. It doesn't look cheap and commercialized. Its got heart.

I'm gonna work on these a little more and take into consideration everything you guys mention on here... so the more comments the better.
 
I like the uniform, but I am not all that crazy about the primary helmet logo. Dolphins just are not mean animals and it's hard to make them look mean, unlike a shark that has rows of very sharp teeth. I would keep the Dolphins as maybe part of a secondary logo.....like a patch on the uniform, and maybe just have the word MIAMI or DOLPHINS in some lettering on the helmet. I like the orange and aqua stripe down the middle of the helmet. I would keep the helmet mainly plain white colored but just add the words MIAMI or Dolphins. I like the all-white uniforms and white helmet....kind of like Penn State...plain and simple.

As far as a change is concerned this was your best. You pretty much stayed with what we currently have. I only got one question about this one. What is going on with the "M" in the helmet????? It looks like it is bubbling or melting sort of.
