With freed- up money from Carey's new contract, which FA do we bring in?

I would love to get Kevin Boss but can Henne get the ball to him ?
 
I am not sure if they will make another big splash. I see them starting to extend some soon to be expiring contracts, like Langford and Soliai. They might even start talking with Wake about a new deal. Also, never to early to start talking to Jake Long about a new deal.
 
You already know who its gonna be.. either leonard davis or marion barber.. I mean what other crap cowboys FA are left?

Barber would have been good, but he signed with the Bears a few days ago
 
I thought the timing of the Osi thread was curious....my best bet is him. Top 2 defense if that happens, no doubt about it.
 
Langford renegotiation...Plus you have to remember there will be a large amount of cuts tomorrow b/c of the AUG 4th roster deadline so a lot more players will hit the open market.
 
They are still trying to free up some cap space to me meet my 10 mill , 10 year contract to be the backup long snapper. If it doesn't work out my agent suggests that the Eagles may be an option but I am confident I will be bringing my long snapping skills to South Beach.

Yeah but if these guys don't put together a good season, locking these guys up will do them no good. I guess its possible they truly believe they've done enough to make a playoff run or they just aren't acting as desperately as guys with their jobs on the line normally would. I respect them for thinking future but am surprised, given the circumstances, that they are. I would be signing anyone I could afford to save my NFL life.

Boss would be nice. But we both know there really isn't a cold chance in hell of that happening
 
this FO sealed its fate if this is all the talent they bring in on offense
They maybe just clearing room hoping a cap casualty gets cut then help us..
 
With Careys cost cutting move
they bring in another carey
"jim Carey to entertain the fans during fieldgoals
Sparno takes out a cigar during each attempt and
jim carey says smoking with every made field goal..

Haynos is gone.
@ TE we have. Fasano, Clay, Shuler, Epps & Brackett. Brackett has looked good so far and was a former WR. So i would love to see him stay somehow.
