Not much to respond to, just a notice as the Jags were one of the few teams left worth salt standing in Indy's way. Without Leftwich they are weakened despite solid backup QB Gerrard.

I'm personally getting worried folks. :(

Let's go Steelers!

Why are you getting worried?
You know one of these days there would've been company for the '72 Dolphins in the Undefeated Club.
I'm not rooting against Indy or for any team, who cares. If they go undefeated, they go undefeated, and there's nothing we can do about that.

At least we can be reassured that they'll choke in the playoffs.

remember the 1972 Dolphins only played 14 games. NOT 16. So if the Colts go 15-0, then lose and go 15-1 on the season, they still beat our record....by having 15 straight wins in one season. We only had 14...not 16.

personally I think Garrard is more dangerous than Leftwich. They may be better off. Wouldnt be surprised if Garrard took Leftwich's job either.

Could be right there, Garrard is a slighlty unknown quantity but has size, mobility and a cannon arm which with matt jones and jimmy smith could create problems for the colts with garrards ability to escape the rush buying time for them to get open downfield

Yeah but Miami went on to win the Superbowl also that year. Also, depending on other teams' records around the league at the end of the year, Indy might not have to play its starters. I mean if they are 14-0 and have homefield locked down they might just start Jim Sorgi and Dominic Rhodes, saving Manning and James for the playoffs. It happened before when Dallas went 14-0 and benched Aikman and co. for the last two games. Dallas won the Superbowl that year too and had the shot to go undefeated.

Yep, I was just going to say the same thing, he has a strong arm and runs a lot better then Lefty who can't move.

Don't sell the ECU product short!;)

That's a liberal thought process for you. A season is a season, not how many games they played then compared to what they play now. If Indy loses only one game, then they did not break the record...they only break the record when they go undefeated...throughout the WHOLE season.

True the record is not 'consecutive wins' it is 'undefeated season'.

I disagree...I smell upset in the air. The Steelers can't afford to lose another one and they will bring it to Manning(god I hope this is not just wishful thinking)in different blitz packages.

By the way, I am getting a little worried to as far as this unbeaten streak goes. I would love to see Dungy get his, but not unbeaten.
