with Miami not signing any CBs makes me think

That Bill Parcells knows something that the general public does not know. So until the season starts I think we should hold off and stop stressing out on why were not going after these CBs. None of these backs who were available are worth the money to spend when we can get the same out of the draft. I also believe that as long as the linebackers and DEs are getting to the QB fast enough Gabril Wilson and Y. Bell will be good enough in the backfield to make plays.

I love how people will not give any regime a season or two to establish and identity....
PS.. Saban never took us to the playoffs with a better team
PSS ..Saban never had a proven track record in THIS league
PSSS... Parcells has coached teams that won super bowls
 
I do not think it's much of a stretch to think BP knows something the general public does not.

I do believe it is more of a philosophy to not overpay CB's and just collect as many as possible to compete for the position. The coaching staff has said in the past that you can never have to many Lineman and CB's.

MORE knowing than many on these boards. Season hasn't even started and there are those that are in absolute panic because the final roster is not even set yet in March!! If only the NFL was as simple as Sony Playstation!
 
i just think that he wants to rebuild for real, not get quick fixes. i think he wants to find the permament replacement for W.Allen/A.Goodman. i think thats the same thing for almost all the other positions NT/ILB/WR. i think we are looking for our longterm all stars not the quick fixes who are getting over paid else where....

2007 - 1-15 (and barely one win might I add)
2008 - Parcells arrives and brings the majority of the organization to an auditorium and promptly fires them. The roster changes like 50% (guess) and the Dolphins two best players Zach and Taylor are gone.
2008 - 11-5 AFC East champions

He may not be God but he is the Savior!

Hey, Rookie - Going from 1-15 to 11-5 should have gotten your attention. Obviously you know something the rest of us don't, please keep your astute comments coming. :lol:

Maybe they have more confidence in nathan Jones and Jason Allen than we think. At #25 one name is beginning to stand ouot to me above all others- Hakeem Nicks.

I love how Parcells has taken the 1-15 fins and designed there roster to the playoff AFC east champion 11-5 fins. I love how he did that way under budget and brought back draft picks.

When you hire somebody you ask for a resume for a purpose its not tell me what you will do in this job today that will prove to the people its what you have done in the past and where you will take that and make it work with today.

Parcells is just that much better then the avg GM in football. There is a reason not everybody is a allstar type player becuz some are good enough to play with tons of practice and some were given the gift from god to be great. The same with being a GM. Parcells was made to be great.
 
Saban days, good grief???? I don't remember Saban winning 11 games in one year and making the playoffs????

NEVER COMPARE BILL TO SABAN. And the only thing higher ranking in the NFL other than Bill parcells are the "Football Gods". The man is the turnaround king when rebuilding franchises...You must not really be football fan if you don't know that. Especially comparing Nick to him.. Geesh...

Idc what the media says. Miami is low on money and doesn't want to spend.
