That gives them 11 offensive lineman. I expect Smith will get the ax, and a running back will be claimed. I would like that running back to be Jammal Branch, another Saint. But who knows. But you can bet an offensive lineman will get the boot due to the Jacox signing (probably Smith).

He plays most of the time with good bent knees and he has the ability to get movement on the line of scrimmage in the run game. He shows good pocket awareness and is able to help out and does a good job of picking up line stunts. With his bulk it is difficult to get him out of his cylinder. He has the speed to pull and get to the corner however; he lacks the overall agility to be effective in space. He works with a narrow base and lacks the foot movement to block linebackers in space. He is a better run blocker than pass protector and he does not have the ability to reset his feet and handle the speed rusher.
