With no Daniel Thomas, this could mean we see Matt Moore this Sunday IMO

If it's a shootout we won't win. This team has no problem moving the ball downfield, now if only they could finish those drives off once they get down inside the 20. If only .....

only by injury....and we all know the columbo turnstile makes that more likely than not to happen.

I for one think that Henne throwing the ball (especially to Bush underneath) gives us the best chance to put up points on the board. I don't want to see Reggie running in between the tackles much.

Who in the world thinks Matt Moore is the answer? Waiter, I'll have what he's having.

Perhaps a person who knows that Moore has a winning career record as starter, two 3 TD games in 13 starts, and saw him actually complete red zone scores in the preseason, something that most people impressed by Henne's performance completely missed out on the fact that he wasn't doing?

But this is less about Matt Moore being an answer and more about pulling a QB whose 6-14 record in his last 20 games is obviously not giving your team the best chance to win.

Lol wut? Henne isn't doing that bad for them to bring in Moore. Yea he could do better, but because Thomas is out they bring in Moore, wut?

Count me in with those who say, "let's just see what Devlin has".

Without our only bright spot on offense this season, the Dolphins are going to rely on Henne more than usual and this could mean a rough day for the Michigan QB against a very good pass defense. I can easily see Sporano and Co try and save their arses any way they can and this means giving Matt Moore a shot if Henne aint cuttin the mustard on Sunday!

Henne threw for over 400 yards the last time Thomas did not player.

Chad Henne is not the problem.

But there is a reason we might be seeing Matt Moore this season.

That is our RT, M Colombo.

Chad Henne is on the way to be sacked more then any other Dolphin QB since 1969.

matt moore scores in the preseason against backups and our fanbase wants him in there... I think I just figured out finheaven is where our Front Office gets their logic.

Matt Moore threw nice passes into the end zone that Henne didn't throw against backups or starters.

And except for this year, Chad Henne sucked in preseason no matter who he was playing.

This really has little to do with Matt Moore though. The point is, the team needs to stop trying the exact same thing that hasn't worked for over 2 years. I'd be here whining for Thigpen if he was still here. Or whining for Pennington if he was still backing Henne up. It makes no difference who is there; Henne needs to be replaced because no matter if he can throw 400 yards a game, he can't win and he can't score.

At the end of his career, Henne can join Jeff George in a special wing of the HOF for QB's who could have been winners but it was always somebody else's fault.

not the great Devlin. rememebr how sure everybody was that he would be oicked up off practice squad. What happened to a qb earning the right to start, hell we might as well pick up Matt Mustain to see what he has.

Wonderful football strategy. Everyone knows that the backup QB solves problems!! Maybe Sparano can use a quick hook & play all of our QBs.

:sidelol:
