...I think people our forgetting that Buffalo was a wounded lamb coming into the game. I think they had something like 10 players injured for the game. I don't want to dampen the enthusiasm, but just temper it. We will be going up against a much better defense next week. It may be alot harder to gain yards than against the sieve we faced last week. I am not saying that we can not win the game, but it is not going to as easy as last week.

We did what a good team was suppose to do to a bad team, we didn't just beat them, we beat them bad.

You have to ask yourself a question, if we played the Jets this past sunday and they played as bad as they did against the Saints and we played as good as we did vs. the Bills, could we have won that game?

Any given Sunday.

You're right - we played a terrible team and the win in of itself isn't as huge of a deal as we'd like. But, I think it is pretty important on two fronts - first, we put a bad team away early and continued to step on their throats. That is killer instinct that we lacked last year, as every game came down to the wire. Second, we know this team was underperforming relative to its talent level and was not playing Dolphins football. As Sparano mentions in his presser today, the players may have stopped buying into the philosophy because it wasn't rewarding with wins, despite what happened last year. This win just might be *HUGE* for their confidence and get them back on track playing Dolphins football.

We played a beat up SD team and loss, we played a Indy defense without one of the best defenders in the NFL and still maneged to lose.

The bottom line is there are no easy wins in the NFL, many teams struggle against teams they should beat. We beat the day lights out of Buffalo, we didn't just squeak by and their injuries were in the secondary where we did our damage on the ground. It was a real good win for us and a great win for a first start for Henne.

Atlanta was the only team that beat us....everyone else, we beat ourselves.

Additionally, think back to last seaon when we played teams in the lower echelon of the NFL. We kept them in the game until the end. We beat Buffalo the way we should have. Ball control was huge i this game. The offense dominated the TOP just as they did against the Colts. The difference is they took care of the ball and the defense played reasonably well.

The Jets don't have much more of an offense than the Bills do so it is going to come down to can we run against the Jets defense. If we can, I see no reason why we don't beat them.

Maybe but we weren't awful. Our QB made 2 bad plays, other than that I think we outplayed NO so it wasn't like we got beat the way Buf just got beat and No has a better D and more confusing D for a rookie QB.

So I guess we can say we beat ourselves in NO? so we don't have any losses this season?

Yea i dont buy the beat our self's act. If thats the case every team beats them self every week. Im interested to see what happens. We have proven we can a play with a good team. We need to make up for that last monday night game too

I have to disagree with this, we gave them 4 turnovers in that game in pretty good field position and only lost 19-7, I'd say we beat ourselves in this game, if we dont have those 3 fumbles and 1 pick i say we win this game.

Thats how you lose generally....but my point was it was the only game with the way we played we didn't have a chance to win.
