The Miami Dolphins select...Deshaun Watson, quarterback, Clemson. The Cleveland Browns are now on the clock.
 
Unfortunately 3 missed FGs will prevent this just like meaningless late season wins in 2011 put Andrew Luck out of reach.

...the Cleveland Browns select... (because we screwed up losing, like we did the same year we got Tannehill)
 
The Browns will win more games than we will this year.

They are still fighting. This team has given up.

I'm not sure Andrew Luck is who you want to be holding up as a Savior.
 
Prefer Kizer personally. Watson is a solid fallback though if we miss out on 1st overall

Still don't know how everyone missed on Russell Wilson in that draft.

I'm a Wisconsin fan, so I saw a lot of him, but he has pretty much done exactly what I expected him to do until this point in his career.
 
I don't get why people think they're taking a QB. Tannenbaum gave Tannehill the "you're the QB" contract that he gave Sanchez. They *might* take a late round flyer. If they get the 1st pick it will be something stupid like a running back.

If I remember correctly, there's an opt out after this season. His salary will jump from $9 million this season to $18 million next season, but we have the option to cut him this offseason with little penalty
 
If we get the top pick id lean we trade it for a ransom to a team like cleveland. I dont think miami will go far given i think they will covet the top de

Anyways if we stay in the top 5 i will start scouting qbs to see if its hype or substance...qb or de only options that make sense

They like howard so corner top 5 pick seems off the table...same for a lb its too rich
