this draft will be interesting. Last year Hickey seemed locked into James, a pick I think he reached on a little early, but nonetheless has worked out. While Tannebaum has only picked 1 playmaker on offense in his 7 drafts (Mark Sanchez). It appears there maybe some playmakers on offense drop to 14 tomorrow. I would love for Miami to pick an offensive playmaker with the first pick but my money says they go cb.

CB won't be the BPA at 14 in any scenerio. Would be very disappointed with a 1st round corner selection if we stay at 14.

Well if we do pick a corner at least that pretty much guarantees philbin is gone next year. However hickey and tannenbaum may go with him. I wonder if they're smart enough to work that out for themselves.

Wrong. He picked the greatest playmaker of our generation--Darrell Revis.

One playmaker on offense in 7 drafts is what crash said so Revis doesn't factor. I'm sure you just saw playmaker and didn't realize he said offensive.

I missed that but it was painting the wrong picture about Tannenbaum. He did draft Revis and that alone gives him cred. Also don't ignore what he has already done in FA. He will draft Todd Gurley, you watch.

I don't think he was bashing Tannenbaum seemed to me he was just stating that he's been more defensive minded in the draft. I think our off season moves couldn't of gone much better and hopefully you're right Gurley is a stud and high on my radar him and parker i like a lot.

He reached for Sanchez on a tradeup, statistically one of the worst starters in recent history (and present backup).. when he could have stayed in place and gotten Josh Freeman.. who would have done as well in 09 and 10 both with that charity and supporting cast if not better, and Stephen Hill in the 2nd. Please dear gawd, keep tannenBum away from Hickey and the draft room.

I don't support Tannenbaum based on his history, which is undeniably poor in many respects (e.g. Sanchez) and also good in others (Revis). I do think he's aggressive and forward-thinking, and I think he's a really intelligent, savvy guy who learned a lot from his first go-around as GM and is going to continue to get better as an exec. I have a good feeling about this draft...however it goes, I think we're going to have some good to excellent contributions from rooks (and/or players we may acquire on draft day) this season.
