Listen guys, he has a terribly messed up knee and maybe a terribly messed up mentality right now, but the guy was selected to THREE pro bowls. You cannot do that by just throwing it up to Randy Moss over and over again. To be a three time pro bowl quarterback, you have got to have talent. The years he performed well in Minnesota, he was a multidimensional quarterback with the pass and run. I just can't dismiss the fact that he can still be great. I can't and I won't.

Imo randy Moss Made Daunte, but i am a Daunte supporter

didnt he make it to the pro bowl when randy was injured and nate burlson had 1,007 yards.randy had like knee and hamstring problems and missed sumtn like six games

nooooooooo QB MAKE GOOD RECIVERS WHAT IS MOSS DOING NOW HOW CAN YO CALL A GUY A BUST AFTER TWO GAMES IN WICH HES NOT EVEN FULLY HEALTHY AND HAD A TERRIBLE OFFENCE LINE AND A BAD OC

i can because of his contract. dump the contract, take the cap hit next year and draft a QB keeping harrington as a mentor. in the long run its cheaper.

You can dismiss him this year. I wonder how Drew Brees' shoulder is doing?

and i odnt want to develope a qb for the next three years

Joey throws for 414 yards and y'all are screaming like he lost the game for us sheesh this place is insane...

In another post someone wrote

2 int's today had nothing to do with the QB, that 70 yrd TD had nothing to do with the QB, the drive at the end of the game had nothing to do with our QB play. We just suck and most disappointly our coaching sucks to.

I tend to agree with this poster.

honestly, i dont think we have another choice. we blew it when we went on that meaningless winning streak last year. We couldve had Cutler and he would probably be starting after the bye. If Quinn or Brohm isnt available when we draft then we can wait another year but if either of them are available we have to draft them

I support daunte and believe he will make us proud,,,,i hope

I want Harrington to finish up the season but he has two bad traits

1) he doesnt look for linebackers when he's throwing mid range. He locks onto the DBs and forgets that linebackers can also drop into coverage. That isnt the worst thing in the world since it can be coached out of him on one hand and if he had a better line in front of him he could take the extra second to scan the field more efficiently

2) he has bad accuracy on the deep throws. he's fine mid range and short. he's not off by that much on the deep stuff but i need to see better accuracy on the deep stuff to feel comfortable with him long term

other than that i generally like his game
