Witherspoon/Panthers in contract talks

I know alot of people here have shown interest in Will Witherspoon. I am one of those people. Right now, he is having discussion with the Panthers on a contract. I'd love to have this guy. He isn't spectacular but he is solid all-around.

Yeah he's very athletic. I had a chance to watch him live here in Athens, and he'd be a good pick up. Plus he'd probably be cheaper than Peterson.

The Dolphins strongside linebacker position lines up up near the line of scrimmage and generally is lined up over the Tight end on the strong side of the formation. A 6'1" 230 pound strongside linebacker would be an incredibly bad idea.

Julian Peterson might not be a whole lot heavier, but he's a freak in terms of his physical ability, especially when it comes to taking on blockers. He's got the arm length and the ability to tangle up with a blocker every play.
