By the time we get Ricky back do you guys think it will be a salvage operation or a re-inforcement to a winning season. Im hoping for the latter because that means we are still in the hunt and we have a serious running threat. If its a salvage operation then i think Saban will be trading Ricky if he performs.

Not this year he won't be.
I don't think so either. I'll take the 1000+ yards from scrimmage he's gonna give us

Call me crazy (now let's just count how many wise arses that actually reply with crazy)

but, Ricky looks like he's happy with the situation he's in... I can see him playing for Miami for awhile and beeing part of a 2 headed RB monster for awhile... for one, Dolphins will always have that 8.3 mill hovering over his head, and basically say "look, play at a reduced salary, and we never collect"...

Seriously who will give him a HUGE contract after what he's done to pay Wayne back...

Saban loves Ricky, and it looks like Ricky has the same opnion for Saban... I think he may just stick around.

If the O plays like they did in the preseason, even Ricky's return won't be enough...

Frerotte MUST give the impression that we have some kind of a passing game. If not, it'll be a repeat of last year and defenses will put 8 guys in the box...stuff the run and suffocate our runners...

But, hey...we could see AJ back the same time that RW comes back...Nah, I don't think (based on his preseason performance) that would help much either...

chatman over Ricky.

hahahahhahahahahahahhaha

WATCH SOME FOOTBALL BEFORE YOU MAKE ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT STATEMENTS, like of like our president and the wmds in iraq

Not this year and maby not next either. Saban has a rep as working very well with palyers who are in need of....... guidence:) I think Ricky likes Nick and the way he has been treated by the big guy, unlike wanny who didnt know how to communicate. The one big question is what happens with his contract. It looks like he will play for the league minimum minus the lost pay for the 4 game suspension. I dont know what the cap # is for next year but remember he still owes us, what, over 8 mill?
