It just hit me that the new Dolphin part owner, Stephen Ross is a big Michigan University alumni/donor and two of the key draft picks (Long and Henne) were recruited from Ann Arbor.
It's probably just a blue and maize co-incidence. I thought they were good draft choices and I look forward to seeing them excell in South Florida. But don't underestimate the possibility that Huizenga will sell Ross the other 50% in the not too distant future. Maybe Bill Parcells was astute in considering the team needs and also pleasing the guy who has invested so heavily in the team. I welcome your comments...
