Woman alleges harassment from Incognito?

She filed a police report. She has to pursue the case becasue no law enforcement officer actully saw it. She took the $$$ and that was the end of it. But it wasn't, Martin's team knew of it. Police reports are public record, so they went and got the report. Now she's prohibited from talking about it (I and she may be in violation for even giving the statement she did)but it's all Godell is going to need to strip Ross of the team and move them to LA.

she files a complaint now? when did this occur? if it happened months ago why now? suspicious claim

she signed an agreement, I may be wrong but I think someone else told the media about it and when asked, the victim said she couldn't talk about it. In other words, either the team or Cogs paid her off.

We don't know who paid her off but we know she was paid. However if the Phins did pay her, we're !*&^%$#. Godell could strip Ross of the team and move them to LA.

Better question is, that with all this going on, why the F would Philbin pick him to go after Martin? Or put him on the leadership council at all? I've lost all faith in Philbin and this front office to run a football team with any sensibility whatsoever. I understand waiting until the season is over, but if I was Ross, I'd toss Ireland out today, and tell Philbin he's on probation til the end of the year and he better prove to me that he can make my professional football team act, dare I say it....professionally.

Otherwise, call up a local high school coaching staff and offer them the chance of a lifetime. With the understanding its only for two months. Let Aponte run the front office and get Marino in take over once the season is over. For anyone who says that he may not be great president material(I thought this myself).....so what? Can it get any dumber than what we've had?

Philbin didn't pick Richie. But yeah, wow.

We don't know what the internal workings were here. It's possible the team put Richie 'on probation' and that's why he was suspended immediately when Joe heard the voicemails. It's possible that the team sent Richie to counseling or rehab after this happened. We don't know yet.

But we're going to find out eventually.

I don't want them to move, even though I'm in Boston, I don't want to become the Houston Oilers. Or wait, the LA Sharks. But I can't say I'd be disappointed if Ross was forced to sell the team. Sell it to Marino and Jimmy Johnson. JJ can run our drafts and Marino can sign free agents. LOL....I could live with that

The players voted on the leadership council. Jon Martin voted for Richie. Mike Pouncey denies that anyone told them to 'toughen up' Martin. Lydon Murtha said that the entire unit was asked to socialize him into the group and, to paraphrase, become friends with him.

Wait until the NFL investigation has finished and then call for someone's head. I'm pretty sure Jeff Ireland is burnt toast and Joe Philbin may be out on his ass, too. But from a personal standpoint, I find it hard to believe that what was going on in that locker room was something horribly monstrous and different from what happens in every other NFL locker room based on all of the information I have available.

As for Joe Philbin specifically, Hard Knocks has hours and hours and hours and hours of footage of Joe interacting with coaches, players, and front office people. I think it's very likely the NFL investigators will have access to that footage, and IMO that will provide a much clearer picture of whether Joe was a horrible villain who 'ordered the code red' or if this really is what I initially thought it was, a situation in which a totally dysfunctional relationship between two idiots takes down an entire organization.

Thank you, it seems some dont understand this concept, or have never been in legal problems before. Im honestly SHOCKED people defend this. I understand being completely disgusted by Martins actions (I am also), because he has completely used a situation and abused his position as man in an NFL team; but defending this?? REALLY???

By no means am I defending Incognito. I just hate the slant the media puts on us like we are the only team with questionable players.

Who's actually defending Richie here?

If if every team does it doesn't make it right.....from listening to players on other teams they are all against what is perceived to be going on in Miami, most say that kinda stuff is over the line and wouldn't be tolerated on their team.....

I think its time for the players and fans to understand this is a losing fight, no way it can be won outside of the NFL, this is a national story which will bring skeletons out of everyone closet...

Martin lawyer has the NFL ripe for the killing and he is big and bad enough to do it.....

No one on the Dolphins survives...its that big.....

The victim wasn't the one who leaked it though. She was on a gag order and signed a confidentiality agreement

did she sign that after an out of court settlement???

We'll never know. Dolphins may have approached her with money just to hush her up and stop her from saying anything, even if that wasn't her intent. Regardless, this incident shouldn't have happened.
