the odds of seeing our Phins play a primetime game this year are infinitely better than they were at the start of the season.

"Fox and CBS are able to protect 5 of their games for weeks 11 through 16, but no games can be locked in the final weekend. "

seems unlikely that cbs would put a stop on any of our games, as they've got lots of other marquee games to protect. If we keep winning, i wouldnt be surprised for the NFL to want to put us on the national stage once this year.

possible dates/games:

Dec. 7th. Miami @ Buffalo (in Toronto) {scheduled: NE @ SEA}
Dec. 28th Miami @ Jets {no SNF game scheduled yet}

all other dates highly unlikely as they already have marquee match ups scheduled, or we play a "bland" game.

Clearly we'll have to keep winning for anyone besides us to care though

What about the Patriots game. Could be division race, after our pummeling.

Just note I believe if NBC wanted to flex a Pats game they would be forced to flex out of a Pats game (week 15 @ Seattle I think) to avoid breaking the rule for most times a team can be on national TV.

Jets game...winner goes to the playoffs...they would be all over that because of Favre...

left out the NE game for above mention reason and also because that week NBC's got Indy @ SD. as we all know, that games not what it was thought to be, but still its got manning, LT, rivers etc.... and i'd be surprised to see NBC drop it, especially since i can see them working the "underachievers under pressure" angle

God, I hope so. That would make things much easier (especially as a father of a baby girl) as I can't get the ticket in my building.

I think the Fins-Jets game has a real good chance. If both teams are fighting for a playoff spot, you better believe it will get national attention.

i'll be at the Meadowlands, would be even better if its a primetime game. only been to 1 of those before, and it was no fun (trouncing by Elvis Grbac and the 49ers in 95). although i did have a nice huge banner that might have gotten some airtime if marino had thrown 4tds instead of 3:

..dAn
...Breaks
reCords on MNF.

he broke the career TD record next week vs. Indy.

I was at the 95 game against SF too...not a lot of fun at all.

I'd love for us to have a night game at home...hopefully we keep our winning up.
