If we pick anywhere from 10-15 do you see saban looking to trade taht pick for lets say another 1st and mayne a 3rd? or do you see him taking whoever is bpa on the board? he did want to trade teh 2nd pick last year but no one wanted it. THANK GOD he didn't cuz RB is our Future.

I bet he tries to trades it to acquire more picks. Whether or not he can, we will just have to wait and see. If we are stuck with our pick, I bet he does take the BPA even if it isn't a position that we are very weak in. With very few 1st round QB options, I see the OL or Safety position being addressed.

im hoping for an aj hawk/hodge/or greenway there. waht would a 10-15 pick be worth via trade?

We are going to draft Michael Huff from Texas who can play both corner and safety and is very quick. He will be awesome!

Well say we did have the 10th pick. The unofficial value could have us trading the 10th pick for the 18th pick plus a 2nd rounder. That would be equal value when compared to the unofficial chart.

ya know saban always wanted Ronnie. At the time of the draft he was putting out so many smokescreens that it was never positive who he wanted. If we had traded down within the top 10 there was a good chance we still would have gotten RB.

I'd rather use the pick. For all the talk about value and everything and how Miami was trying to trade down out of #2, aren't you glad we got Ronnie Brown instead of Cadillac, Cedric, Braylon, Mike Williams, etc?

Come up with your best guy, target him, and use the pick.

I would rather trade up and get a QB then trade down to acquire more picks, the Giants and Falcons both did that and it seems to be working out nicely.

I agree.

True, but picking that high is either going to be a big hit or be a big bust. It is a 50/50 shot usually. Luckly, Ronnie was a big hit for us. Trading down allows you to acquire more players and decrease the chance of making a bad choice.

I think you usually get a decent player at that spot, I don't think it's 50/50 boom or bust.

I am wondering if a good QB will end up appraising out around our pick, will we take him. Candidates in my book have to be Brady Quinn and Jay Cutler.

It probably increases the chance of making a bad pick, but decreases the risk because less money is involved.
