I got this one wrong. I don't get it.

PRESENT/RESERVE, Do these words:
have similar meanings; have contradictory meaning; mean neither the same nor opposite?

I chose contradictory but the answer is neither the same or opposite.

For example, you can "present" an opinion or "reserve" an opinion. That seemed contracictory to me. Can anyone clue me in - I'm confused.
Yeah, those kinds of questions can be tricky words can have more than one meaning. I mean I think both words can have multiple definitions:

present- to like introduce, to deliever a speech, the current time (like present time), or hell even a gift... like a christmas present

reserve- to like arrange or hold on to... or to obtain

I really can see where you're coming from though. I feel it could mean either contadictory or neither the same or opposite. It partially depends on what definition you use. I think it's a bad a question. Wish I could be of more help, but I think it's just a terrible question to ask and really depends on which way you look at it.

Oh, cool man. I wasn't sure what it meant...

But for question two: The answer is true because... #2. says "All baseball players wear hats". And in #1. "The Boy plays baseball". So that means, that the boy is a baseball player, than he does where a hat because all baseball players wear hats.

If a problem like that ever confuses you, you could change it to maybe something easier... Here let me translate it to football. :D

Ronnie Brown plays football. All football players wear helmets. Ronnie Brown wears a football helmet. So that statement would be TRUE.

Hope that helps you understand it better. :cooldude:

too many variables. is the boy on the field or in the dugout? Did the laundry lady get all the hats clean? Is the boy at a game or at the mall? If the boy is at a game, is the national anthem or invocation being performed?

Thats the one I missed too. For the same reason.

This one TICKED ME OFF!!!

14. Assume the first two statements are true. Is the final one:
True False Not Certain

1. Tom greeted Beth.
2. Beth greeted Dawn
3. Tom did not greet Dawn

I put TRUE because Tom didn't greet Dawn, he greeted Beth. Hell, it says right there, "ASSUME the 2 statements are TRUE." I did just that. I don't even know if TOM knows DAWN, but I know he didn't greet her because he greeted BETH! This question is abstract, but I was just checking out the facts given. Bullsh*t question, IMO..... :fire:

A- You scored 14 out of 15. You are bound for the Ivy League! in 40 seconds

I only got 11 but i did do it in sub 3mins with no calculator. By the way which player was it who got 2 out of 50? what a dumb@$$

that was easy... 14/15

I'd rather a player have football smarts rather than be good at maths, english or verbal reasoning. I don't think much stock is put in the Wonderlic.

junior rosegreen, S, auburn.

I wonder whether that is a contributor to why he went undrafted!?
