That is AWESOME! I really didn't want a dome either! WE don't want to go from one of the BEST Home Field Advantages and a tough team, to a Little Girlies' Team playing inside rolling around on the carpet. WAYNE should not only forget about what the NFL wants, WE DONT WANT IT. I rather get rained on for the entire game than play in a dome.

I am glad as well.
A dome in S. Florida would be horrible although I do understand why Wayne came up with the idea from a business perspective.

Yeah, a dome really didn't make a whole bunch of sense and would have really taken something away from playing football in early september in south florida... good move..

Wasn't it going to be a retractable dome? If so it would solve the problem...open it for games and close it for other activities.

What makes some of you guys think that the roof would be closed during those hot september, and october afternoon games? I would think the brass wouldn't be stupid enough to do that and take away our advantage of the brutal heat/humidity. I would think they would only close it if we had rain....and how much of an advantage is rain really?

A retractable roof might be a good idea and I think I would be all for that, but definitely no DOME... glad it looks like it's not going to happen.

The heat is what we use as our advantage to our oppositions who can't take the heat (like teams who play in cold weather). Heat = Advantage For Us

thank god we dont get domed!!! just the thought of seeing the fins play on fake grass makes me sick. the retractable roof wouldnt be too bad, although open stadium is just fine, and should stay.
