worried about the D on against san diego

chargers have been scoring a ton of points. we let the jets march up and down the field on us yesterday, especially in the 1st half. if the chargers do that theyre not gonna be settling for field goals or throwing picks in the end zone, theyre gonna be scoring tds. hopefully the run game continues to grind and we keep our defense off the field.

Rivers ain't Fitz, we will need to score TDs

Rivers is hard to sack as he gets rid of the ball quick and is hard to bring down. We had him a couple times last year and he broke free, you have to wrap up. I have said this in a few threads.....he likes the quick slants and has a VERY LOW throwing angle. The linemen need to pressure and get their hands in throwing lanes. I also like what Phillips did, dropping back into throwing lanes. I think if we try to get sacks and not try to disrupt passes, it will get frustrating! Take away what he likes to do and stop the run and we will be fine!
