I was a big Saban supporter, but I don't care so much that he's gone because I believe there are plenty of talented young up and comers that can take the position and make us successful. IMO we need to grab a young co-ordinator that knows the NFL just like the Saints and the Jets did rather than pulling someone from the college ranks.

My biggest concerns however are in regard to the players we already have on the roster.

With Saban gone I don't expect Ricky to return and it wouldn't surprise me if JT now announced his plans to retire, possibly followed by Zach.

It is already common knowledge that Ricky is a huge Saban fan and can we expect JT and Zach to want to go through the rebuilding process again??

I really feel the same way.If ricky,jt,and zack dont come back it will be a very long and ugly season next year.We also are in a hole with the Qb
situation. Man just thinking about it hurts :boohoo:

Anywhere we go is a step up from having Saban in charge. That has been made abundantly clear. The future is bright. JT and ZT arent retiring. You never saw much of bond between them and Saban. I dont see them going anywhere. Ricky couldnt care less about Saban, he just doesnt like being hassled. I miss Ricky but whether he's here or not doesnt really matter much at this point. He's not someone to depend on. His return is entirely dependent on the new people we bring in.

But with none of the negativity this year. Miami will have a hungry coach who we as fans know will do his best to make them a contender again. Hey, the way the NFL is, Miami could be next year's Jets.

Exactly right. We need somebody that knows the NFL game but has new, fresh ideas and is ready to make the Dolphins his team.

im only worried about 1 thing. whoever our new coach will be, hopefully drafts a qb because IMO i think pep is pretty much done. i just hope if we let him be our starter he'll prove me wrong.

i just want to see the dolphins win and make the playoffs whoever the qb is

All I have is McGehee to look at and lay my hopes with. Two years to heal a knee. We'll see.

Now Ricky can go to Bama for his master's degree in herbal sciences....:sidelol:

Ricky needs money. He undoubtedly will be back. Jason's aching back was talking a few days ago. He'll be fine after a little rest. We have lots of talent returning at every position to compete for starting positions except QB. I think we should let them all go and start over with a new OC and QB coach along with three different candidates at QB.
